We had the first meeting of the families from Brandno's crew last Thursday night. We decided to send out some Easter themed bags to all the guys for the April care package. We will be sending over some cookies, a little bit of non-chocolate candy so it doesn't melt, trail mix and some drink packets. Not sure what else. I will not be able to be there when they put them together. But here is what Reese and I contributed. She was on clean up detail for any of the trail mix that didn't quite make it into the bags. I learned today that she does not like raisins, or dried cranberries. But she is all over Reese's Pieces!!! Actually come to think of it, I tried to give her carrot and celery yesterday and she didn't like that either. She is a junk-food-aholic!!!
Since it's been a busy weekend with running around to do errands, getting the lawn mowed and working on some stuff for the crew and work, Reese's nose is a little out of joint. She decided tonight that I am not worthy to hang out with. She went down the hall to her blanket and has stayed there ever since. Guess I am fired tonight in her book.
And after much struggle with the printer/scanner, I finally gave up and framed an ultrasound pic. Today I decided that I would attack the computer set up and try and figure it all out. And how stupid....after downloading new software and updates for the printer/scanner and running all these troubleshooting things (Brandon told me that would fix it!!!) I ended up tracing some of the wires in the back of the computer cabinet and found that the USB cord was not connected. I plugged it into the laptop, and voila... instant success. Wish I thought of that a few weeks back. I opted not to undo the frame and the picture to scan it, so it's just scanned in the frame. I will add a few more of the other pics this week.

Definitely not looking forward to Monday tomorrow. The start of a new week, and the hunt begins for an assistant again. One of these days we will find just the right person to fill this job. Until then, we keep moving along and put in a lot of long hours. The bottom line is the patients need to get to the OR and the doctors need all their stuff in order. Not sure how the plan to "divide your work between 3-4 people" will work out. I guess we will just try it and see. Never a dull moment it seems!
