It's been a long standing joke at work whether or not I would make my own cookies for a shower if I ever had a baby. I make them for everyone else when there is a shower. I decided that I would make a batch and they would serve kind of as a favor and thank you for those people who attended. Tomorrow night is the work shower and here is my first attempt at doing a cookie bouquet. The yellow pot was the first one and it's a little disorganized. The layout of the green one went much better. Getting the sticks into the cookies to bake is kind of a pain and I was set I would never do this again. But after the end product I am pretty happy with them. Hope everyone else likes them.
And on a side note, thanks to John and the boys for doing the lawn tonight for me. And thankfully Reese is on the mend. She is grumpily staying in the kitchen just to be on the safe side (which she is hating, but she is not suffering with lots of blankets and babies, and with no rug in the kitchen the tennis ball bounces way better!!) but so far so good. No more accidents. Off to bed I guess, it's going to be a long busy day tomorrow.
