Tomorrow afternoon starts the third deployment for Brandon's crew with our third Captain. Each one has been a little different. Hoping that the guys have a good tour. It will be a little different this time around with their boat still being worked on in the shipyard. Depending on how quickly the work is done on the boat will determine how many patrols the crew goes on. A few people have asked about the safety of the area that the crew is going to especially with all the news coverage of the unrest in Bahrain the past few weeks. The crew will stay on the base and are on one side of town where all the protests have been happening. They will not be able to go to the other side of town where a lot of the merchants are until things settle down a bit. Political urest is not an uncommon thing over there so they are used to having the base closed for threats and what not. Yet again another reason why I am pretty thankful to live in a country where we have so many freedoms. Be safe boys and come home to us soon!! We will miss you.
