And Tuesday makes 2 weeks

I guess it's a good thing that it's almost two weeks that have gone by since Brandon left. It seems like it went by quickly. Then again, I am not rushing time to get to July. It's a little scary the thought of going this alone. Thank goodness for all our wonderful friends and family. As we always say, it will all work out one way or another!

Brandon is doing well. They took over the ship from the other crew last week and things are going well. With all the unrest over there (which is getting better day by day) the shipyard workers have been delayed in their work on the ship. With luck this will delay the first patrol the crew has to go on. That gives us a better chance of flying Brandon home for a few days. I talk to him usually every day for a few minutes. He sounds good and is adjusting to his new living quarters and his comfy cozy twin size bed!!! Reese has adjusted as well to having him gone. She sulked for a few days but now she is back to her nutty kooky self. She even managed to help me out and climb in the tub herself for her bath yesterday. Such a good puppy. I was really wondering how I was going to get all 65 lbs of her in tub.

That's about it for all the updates from here. It was a lazy weekend after a really crazy week at work last week. Here's hoping that the flu has worked it's way out of our office and all our staff is back to work again. Guess we will find out tomorrow morning.

And a big thank you goes out to someone out there who had the high chair we picked out shipped to us this weekend. What an awesome surprise from the Fed Ex man yesterday. I don't have a pic of it yet. I haven't put it together as I know we won't be needing that one for a while. I did open the box to check it all out though. Thank you mystery gift giver. We love it! And by chance it was delivered when I was talking to Brandon. Almost good as us both being here to open it.
