Well it seems that Miss Reesie has decided to be a little trouble maker lately. Brandon came home on Friday to find her greeting him at the door. She thankfully didn't destroy or pee on anything. And here is what her kennel looked like, and her picture that seems to have the "what did I do" going.
And then we went to the grocery store. We needed to pick up a few things and sure enough this is what we came home too. It seems that Reese decided to literally chew the wire off her kennel. She then proceeded to get her head stuck between the door and the side of the kennel. How she managed to not get hurt is beyond us. She did shed a bunch of fur and manage to move the kennel away from the wall in trying to get her head either in or out of the predicament she found herself in.
She had the kennel door reinforced since we had tickets to go up to the race in Richmond on Saturday and she couldn't be left alone. She did pretty well then. Someone came and let her out and she chewed a little on the wire. We came home today and she had chewed through the bottom of the reinforcement. Can't figure out what is different. We thought that maybe she was having issues because she was out of bones and needed to chew. Wrong!!! Now she has a couple other chew things. The only other thing we can think of is that maybe the thunder freaked her out. We are not sure what we will do with her next. But then look at that sad puppy dog face. It says I am sorry doesn't it??? We told Grammie we are shipping her to NH if she doesn't shape up!!!
We did have a great time at the race, well minus the rain and all. It was really nice to catch up with Brandon's cousin Jeff who drives the coach for one of the drivers. He actually brought us back to were all the coaches were which was kind of cool. Hope you all had a good weekend!!! Wish us luck with out puppy adventures.
