Keep Your Fingers Crossed!

Well, after about 4 months, it looks like we might finally make it to Busch Gardens this weekend! For those of you who don't know, I made a deal with Brandon that I would only move to Virginia with him if he promised to take me to Busch Gardens so I could ride all the crazy roller coasters! Well, if we can catch a break and not have wind and rain on Saturday from the Noreaster that is headed our way tomorrow, I will happily be riding the Big Bad Wolf, Alpengeist, and whatever other crazy upside down, spinning rides I can. Can't wait. Guess all good things do come to those who wait. Will keep you posted if we make it and take some pics!

In other news, since I know I have been horrible about posting on here lately. I left my evil neurosurgery job on September 5th and not soon enough if you ask me. I was hired by an ENT office here in Chesapeake. The perks of job number 2 are a commute that is 15 minutes each way, nice people to work with, and a substantially higher hourly rate. It was a positive change all around. I am their surgical coordinator and so far so good. Still learning of course, but it is going well. It is not Andover ENT, and I know that I will not find that job again, but I am working with a great group of people, who manage to see the humor in the day to day things. So...here's hoping this one is the place for me.

Other than that, Brandon and I are officially back on the diet track. He is for work reasons, and me, well, I do have a 10 year high school reunion coming up in November and I would like to be a little smaller before then. Course, we start this plan and then go to Busch Gardens where it will be hard to pass up funnel cakes...mmmm!! Gotta have will power. Brandon's job is still a little crazy. Every few days I get the update, we might leave end of November, well, we might not leave for a year. So, we follow the motto of hurry up and wait and we will deal with whatever comes our way when it happens.
