Joshua - 3 weeks

Floor time is fun for the puppy and the baby! Reese is still being such a good girl. She is stuck like glue to my side a lot and still loving sleeping on Grammie's bed. It's nice for her to have some time away from Joshua and some special attention. She has been so good, even with Brandon leaving. She did sulk for a few days.
Sporting my big boy outfit!!! Thank you Tasha!
Just chilling with Mom!
Cookie making was tough business, someone needed a power nap. Joshua is always putting a hand over his eyes, or his arm across his forehead like life is so difficult.
Mom and Grammie bought Joshua the Clifford from Kohl's today. It is a new favorite toy for floor time.
Thank you to The Paddock Family for all the great prizes for Joshua and Reese. They are a big time Army family so they had to send something Army. They also sent Joshua some Red Sox stuff and some surfing clothes from the West Coast. Thank you Paddock Family!
Love that face!
Tubby time is a hit with this boy!
And just to prove that our little boy has a bit of temper....here is picture evidence :-)
It was another busy week, and hard to believe Joshua is already 3 weeks old. Our time with Brandon went by so quickly, and we said see you soon to him on 7/28. He is back in Bahrain and on official countdown. He was all filled in on all the happenings while he was gone, and the crew is happy to have him back. Lots of things happening this week for Joshua. He received a letter from the Captain of Brandon's ship and he sent him his very on Captain's coin. The letter said to be sure to explain to Joshua when he got older what an important part Brandon played on the crew. It was a nice surprise, although getting the envelope that states "Official Navy Business" in the mail is a bit intimidating. We have learned over the past few days that Joshua has limited patience for waiting to eat. When he wants to eat...he wants to eat...bottom line! And he has quite a set of lungs on him. But overall it's the only time he really cries. He is a really good baby. We are working on about 3 hour stretches at night for sleep. He wakes up and eats then goes right back to sleep and he even slept until 9 this morning. As long as the bottles are ready on time, Joshua is a happy camper. He is making more and more noises and faces. And we think we caught a few smiles here and there. He is enjoying his time on the floor with his toys and working hard to control his head. He is trying so hard to pull himself forward and into a sitting position. This little guy is a afraid he is missing something. Happy 3 weeks Joshua. We love you! And be safe Brandon....we miss you and love you too! And last but not least, a HUGE thank you to Grammie Jane for all her help. We hope to be on the road the end of the week to come back to NH. She gets a thank you for all her help here and also for braving the 12 hour drive with me, Reese, and Joshua. We are going to owe her big big big prizes!
