Mom made it in Monday morning, Brandon made it in shortly after, we had a great afternoon of shopping and visiting and off we went to the hospital on Tuesdsay morning to get the best gift ever given. It was an eventful day, and didn't go as smoothly as planned. We are so lucky that we are all home and healthy and on the mend.
That being said...how can you not love those wicked cute toes???? Joshua is so awesome. We are working on trying to figure each other out and figure out a schedule or what works and doesn't. He is snoozing now in his swing, and hopefully he will have a good night. He is not gaining weight as quick as they would like so we have had lots of trips back and forth. We were up a bit on the weight today and hope we are turning the corner. I have discovered that the theory of waking him up every two hours to feed him when he is sleepy doesn't work out so well!! He just gets really grumpy I woke him up.
And I need to thank Chuck and Barbara for beautiful card and gift. So generous and thoughtful of you. We have received so many nice gifts and cards. And while I am usually on the ball on thank you notes. I am just not getting them done this go around. So please forgive me if you have not received your thank you email yet!! And this may be the one go round you don't get a card in the mail. And also thank you to Susan for telling me in advance that the house can stay dirty, the laundry can pile up, and life will still go on. I need to get over my to do list and focus on Joshua and sleep! Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
