Weekend Fun

Hard to believe the four day weekend is over already. It went by way to quickly. We headed up to Brandon's sister's house for Thanksgiving and had a nice day together. We also celebrated Kyle's birthday a couple days early. On the ride up to her house I scoped out all the Black Friday ads and made a plan for shopping. I was at the stores by 8:30 to get some of the sales. It was crazy. I know for you diehards 8:30 is late...it's the earliest I have ever gone. I spent a lot of time in lines but did get some great buys. Made a big dent in shopping in hopes to not have a crazy month of December.

Brandon worked yesterday and I headed to Virginia Beach to go to the big craft fair. Picked up some fun gifts there as well. Last night was prepping for our mini-Thanksgiving dinner today and taking the Christmas decorations down. We got the tree up and decorated today and the outside lights up. I was having a hard time getting in the Christmas spirit this year, but with the decorations up I am feeling it now. Just have to decide if I want to bake or not this year. Back to the grind tomorrow. Not really looking forward to it but the countdown is on and then it's another week off at the end of December. Yay!!!

And here is Reese....just chillin under the tree eating her bone. She is thrilled we have put this cozy new bed down for her to sleep on.
