You Will Be Missed

Shortly after we moved to Hudson, NH Mom started doing some non-medical home care for Alex and Esther Dolman. They lived in Londonderry and she would go in the morning and at night to mostly help Esther get up and dressed and then get ready for bed at night. Esther always wanted a kiss goodnight on the cheek before Mom left. She was such a sweet lady and Mom worked her magic with Alex who was a bit rough around the edges. They ended up moving into an assisted living apartment in Salem a few years back and Esther thrived while she was there. Esther became involved with all kinds of activities and was quite the Wii bowler! She lost Alex last year and after falling last week she had been in the hospital. She had been through several stays in the hospital in the past and amazed everyone with her comebacks. Esther made it very clear that she was not having any extreme measures this time around. She had lived a good life and she truly believed when her time came she was ready. Mom faithfully visited with Esther every weekend. And Esther always wanted to hear all about us and of course Reese. Sadly, Esther passed away this morning at 89 years young. She will truly be missed by all of her friends young and old. And Mom will be blessed with another angel watching over her. Esther, I hope you know how many lives you have touched with your kindness and gentle heart. May you be at peace and free of pain and suffering.
