Yesterday marked the 2 month mark for Brandon's deployment. I got a call from him at the end of the work day. It seems the satellite phone decided to work at least for a few minutes. He has had a busy week. They were supposed to have a few days off and then had to pull back out early to help out. They have also had quite a sandstorm that lasted a couple days. Next care package will have his bandanas so he can make face masks to avoid the sand. I am missing him, but have not desire to go through sandstorms. He also had to go and help out on an oil platform and has decided that that is the yuckiest job he has had in a long time. Hopefully he will be back in port again soon and we can jump on Skype and catch up. The countdown goes on.

Reese and I were spoiled with another box of prizes from Grammie. Reese got some new toys to play with, and of course some treats. She loves when boxes come in the mail and thinks that all of them are for her! I am looking forward to planting the seeds that mom sent. I wish the weekends were a bit longer. I made a bunch of cookies last night for some of the work girls and am supposed to frost more baby ones tomorrow. Our IT guy is getting a surpise shower on Monday. He and his wife had twin girls a little over a week ago. They were nine weeks early and are doing very well. Another busy weekend. Monday morning will be here far to soon. And thanks to all the work girls for a great lunch today. So nice to have the old crew back together again.
