Some Birthday Party Pics

The trip home was great. It was so nice see Janet and visit with her, and also with Susan, Madelyn and Jillian, and Barbara too. Miss Jilly is such a cutie! It was wonderful to be able to meet her and play puzzles with Madelyn.

Haley's birthday was a lot of fun. The house looked wonderful, and was a true candyland. Hope she had fun. And it was great to see all the Adley grandkids. Grammie and Papa lucked with out with all those beautiful babies.
"Grammie -Where are all the kids??"
Haley's awesome cake.

The wedding went very well. It was pouring rain on the way down to it. It was pay back for everyone who had to drive through the downpours on our wedding day! I fully appreciate your efforts!! I had a great time catching up with Racheal and John too. Congratulations Tim and Meredith.
Uncle Brandon made it up to see Kathryn for her birthday and as you can see, the dress up costume was a big hit. She loved her cake and when asked what piece she wanted, she wanted the middle. Her mom started to tell her that she couldn't have that because it was the middle and Uncle Brandon promptly set her straight. It was her birthday and she could have what ever piece she wanted!!! Too funny! Brandon came home the same day to pick up Reese from her babysitter. She was really good and had a good sleepover. Well, then she decided to catch a possum out of the babysitter's shrub before she went home. Great huh? She caught and ran over proudly to show Brandon and Chuck. Needless to say the possum didn't make it. And since her first catch, she is bound and determined to catch the squirrels living in our backyard. It's making her potty runs very interesting. And I have had the pleasure of having to chat with Ms. Conway the past 2 days. Lucky me! It seems that she is having some back trouble so she can't cross the street to chat with me. She yells across the road though. She told me the same old stories about how no one is around to help the old people anymore and how we are never home. Then today she caught me out with Reese. She had "no idea we had a pet". She thought she was really pretty but she wouldn't allow me to cross the street and talk to her in case Reese jumped on her and injured her back. I am okay with staying on my side of the road. And the last couple pics are of Reese in her new favorite sleeping spot. See, we keep the laptops on the floor between the chair in the couch. It was a safe spot from Miss Reese. Not anymore. It is now her favorite sleeping spot as she snores behind me as I type. Crazy puppy!
It's been a busy week back at work, not so much with docs as they were all at a conference but with broken computers it made for an interesting week. And it's a quiet weekend. Brandon is at work all weekend so it's me and the pooch who is desperately trying to catch a squirrel. We did want to thank Nicole, Joey, and Haley for the gift card to Longhorn. We went there last night and dinner was DELICIOUS. Thanks! You are the best.
