We Love Our New Puppy

Okay so she's a little over a year but she will be our puppy. Our slightly less destructive puppy we hope. We went to the shelter on Sunday and it was a toss up between Baxter the boy and Kesha the girl. Well Kesha just flung her head back and batted those big old eyes at Brandon and sure enough we were sold. She is a little puppy like still but has done surprisingly well so far. She is so sweet as the pics show. Now if we can just come up with a name for her. Didn't think it would be so hard. She is not responsive to Kesha at all and we aren't loving it. So...the hunt continues. We had to call Miss Jane up and promptly tell her she has a new Grandpuppy!!! She is really into stuffed toys and found a lion I had. That is her baby and she likes pulling all the stuffing out of it. And she is pretty funny to watch lying on her back and holding it between her paws. We also went and got the bed for her, which she is more into dragging around the living room, and chewing on than sleeping on. She is far happy with old towels. We are very happy to see that she is not afraid of her crate too. And the cookies, well that is what she would have gladly sampled for me!!!
