Wishing everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day! I will be keeping busy with a girls afternoon out. Heading to the movies and lunch with a friend, and then watching a couple of cute little guys so their mom and dad can have a well deserved night out. It should be good. Started off the week bringing in some yummy cookies and brownie bites to the work girls. They were happy!!! It seems no matter how many I make, there is never enough. Guess that's a good thing.

Brandon and I have always kept Valentine's Day a small event between us. Little gifts, or during the wedding planning, we pretty much skipped it. No matter what I always got flowers. I have never been one who needs a big elaborate bouquet from an expensive florist. It became the joke between us that he could buy me the Walmart or Shaw's bouquet and I would be happy. I talked to him at lunch today from the boat and he was all worried that he might not be able to talk to me tomorrow on Valentine's Day. I had received a card from him earlier in the week. Who knows when he might get the one I sent. I was happy with that. I kept telling him we could celebrate when he got home, and not to worry if he got busy. I could talk to him at some point. I finished work, got out late as usual, and was ready to call it a night before I even got home. That is until I saw the box by my front door. While it might be harder to get flowers to me from Kuwait, Brandon went above and beyond and made sure I got my flowers. Two dozen red roses, absolutely beautiful ones (don't mind the arrangement of them, I haven't mastered that skill as much as my mom has!). I knew I was married to a great guy, and he continues to surprise me over and over again. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow. I am looking forward to my valentine coming back home soon and safe.
